Where To Begin

From a small kitchen fire to a more substantial fire in your home, fire damage is a scary thing to experience. After the immediate fire has been put out, it’s important to know that the fire and smoke damage can compromise your safety and should be handled by a professional team as quickly as possible. At Bright Restoration, no damage is too severe for us to take on. We’ve been in the business of fire damage restoration for over 12 years and we are fully licensed, certified, and bonded. We’ve seen it all before, and we’ll be able to help you restore your home quickly and responsibly.

Your Safety Is Our #1 Priority!

Your safety is our top priority at every stage in the fire damage restoration process. Before you do anything else, the first step is to determine if it’s safe for you to remain in your home. If you’ve contacted firefighters to put out the fire, those authorities will be able to tell you when it is safe to reenter the building. Even if the damage doesn’t look bad from the outside, the structure of your home may have been compromised. Fire authorities will establish a safety zone, which will vary in size depending on the severity of the fire. In extreme cases, you may not be allowed to enter the home for your own protection. After you’ve contacted your family, the next step is to call a public adjuster or your insurance company. If you’d prefer to handle your claim directly, you can speak to your insurance provider to arrange for clean-up, restoration and alternate lodging as necessary. Alternatively, you can contact a local public adjuster who will independently evaluate the damage and advocate on your behalf with your insurance provider.

Common Causes of Fire

Fires can happen for a variety of reasons. In severe cases, the fire authorities will investigate the cause of the damage. Still uncertain about the origin of your fire damage? We recommend you read the common causes of fire and smoke damage.
